We had Jake Spurlock as a guest and his episode was absolutely fantastic, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at WIRED magazine, and a lot of the cool things they’ve been working on there. In this episode he talks about how he got into WordPress web development, and how it ultimately landed him at one of the world’s oldest web properties.
Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, we’ve landed an amazing keynote speaker. LoopConf welcomes Google engineer Ilya Grigorik! Ilya Grigorik is a web performance engineer and developer advocate at Google, where his focus is on making the web fast and driving adoption of performance best practices. We’re thrilled to have Ilya join us and can’t wait for him.

Actually, you probably only know one person who fits that description, if you know him, that is.
LoopSession Episode 3 features creator of Ghost, John O’ Nolan. John O’ Nolan was formerly an active contributor to the WordPress project until he came up with the concept of Ghost, a javascript-based blogging platform that saw some considerable growth in 2015. John talks about why he chose to pursue Ghost, how it’s been going, and what’s on the road ahead.
LoopSession Episode 2 features Helen Hou-sandí. Now for those of you who don’t already know Helen, she’s a WordPress core committer who lead the 4.0 release of WordPress, the Director of Platform Experience at a top WordPress agency, 10up, and is also recognized as one of the world’s most renowned thought leaders on pizza rolls.
